CDT welcomes new cohort of students

The CDT welcomes the new cohort of 23 students from both UCL and Cambridge who started earlier this month (October 2013) on their MRes in Photonic Systems Development.

The CDT welcomes another large cohort of students to UCL and Cambridge to start their Masters of Research (MRes) in Photonic Systems Development.

The EPSRC funded UCL-Cambridge Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is now in its 5th year of operation and continues to educate the next generation of highly skilled photonics graduate engineers.

Induction week involved students attending introductory lectures and presentations from many of the CDT academic management, research group leaders and supervisors. They must now complete their taught modules at the two institutions and their two mini research projects which run from November 2013 - May 2014 and May 2014 - September 2014. They can choose from a large list of projects at both world leading universities.

If you are interested in joining the programme next year, submit your pre-application now!

Interviews for students who are fully eligible for funding will be prioritised and will start in November 2013 and run until June 2014.
