Thermochromic V02 Nanoparticles research presented at E-MRS conference

UCL MRes student Rafael Sibilo will present her MRes project work on a very hot topic at the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) Spring Meeting in Lille.

Rafael Sibilo who is currently working on her first MRes research project in Dr Ioannis Papakonstantinou's group in UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering is to present her research at the largest ever conference organized by the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) in May. She will be joined by co-researcher and fellow CDT student, Alaric Taylor.

Rafael who only started her MRes in September 2013 will be presenting in the "Chromogenic materials and devices" symposium which is focused upon materials that are able to change their optical properties in response to an external stimulus such as temperature, light intensity or electrical charge insertion. This symposium is being organised by the world expert in the field Claes G. Granqvist. Rafael will be presenting her MRes project work on thermochromic VO2 nanoparticles and it is expected that her work is likely to attract a lot of attention.
